Giuseppe Pezzini is Senior Lecturer at the University of St Andrews, in Scotland. He studied at the Scuola Normale in Pisa and the University of Oxford. His publications focus mainly on classical philology and linguistics, Roman theatre, and the theory of fiction, ancient and modern (including Tolkien); he is also an Associate of the Institute for Theology, Imagination and the Arts of the University of St Andrews, and the Tolkien Editor for the Journal of Inklings Studies.
Emmanuele Riu holds a BA and MA Italian at the University of Turin, and has recently finished a PhD in Classical and Modern Literature at the University of Genoa, with a dissertation on Dante and the Sententiae of Pietro Lombardo (focusing in particular on original sin, grace, freedom and predestination). For the past three years he has taught Italian in a secondary school in Turin.
